Last week, researchers involved in fastMOT travelled to Macau, China, to share their work at fNIRS 2026 (16–19 October).
Our contributions to the scientific programme:
Xingmin Li – “Deep Tissue Imaging with 10×10 Pixels SNSPD” (presentation) and “Estimate Optical Properties in TD-NIRS with Deep Learning Method” (poster)
Luca Giannoni – “microCYRIL: A Miniaturised Broadband NIRS System for Portable Measurement of Cerebral Oxygenation and Metabolism” (poster)
Jason Zhang – “Array of Quantum Sensors for Time-Domain Diffuse Optics” (poster)
The conference was a great opportunity to exchange ideas with the international fNIRS community and share some of the technologies and approaches being explored within fastMOT.
Thanks to Xingmin, Luca and Jason for representing the project in Macau!
